Job Summary:

The Data Science team at Ola Consumer builds innovative machine learning and deep learning solutions that enhance business efficiency and create superior customer experiences across mobility, food delivery, quick commerce, and financial services. As a Data Scientist II, you will work on high-impact problems affecting millions of users and contribute to building scalable, state-of-the-art data science products.

Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRAs):

• Formulate and implement machine learning and deep learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Build, test, and deploy scalable models across multiple consumer business lines.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to run experiments and productionize solutions.
• Work with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments such as Spark.
• Contribute to and co-own the product roadmap for data science initiatives.
• Mentor and support fellow data scientists within the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in data science within product-based organizations.
• Strong fundamentals in machine learning with hands-on deep learning experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience working with terabyte-scale data in Spark environments.
• Strong problem formulation, analytical thinking, and solutioning skills.
• Good product sense and ability to translate business problems into ML-driven solutions.
